Installed this with the corresponding sensor in the other manifold in wife''s 2008 Avalon. The engine control module was giving a code indicating one of the sensors heater circuit was not working. When I checked both sensors with my ohm meter, the reading were in the neighborhood of 11 ohms which is what they should be, but the code kept coming back after resetting. The car has 165 thousand miles on it, so I replaced both the sensors. Going on four weeks now with no check engine codes. And the car runs noticeably better

The Denso sensor is the exact replacement model, right down to the same electrical connector. Denso''s website gives good details about the exact replacement vs. universal models.

It was a little easier to remove and replace the sensors than I thought it would be since the old ones were in the manifold so long. I did shoot them with some PB Blaster about a week before, and then again right before removing the old sensors.

I recently changed a bad Bank 2 Sensor 2 oxygen sensor on my 07 Camry LE. Got this for practically nothing (after points) here, and was hoping for a quick change with some homemade ramps and a cheapo 7/8" socket wrench bought here. DON''T use a 7/8" wrench- instead use a 22mm wrench as the 7/8" is too big and will strip the sensor like mine. Brought it to a muffler place, got it lifted, torched, and the sensor replaced for $30. Don''t put the sensor in immediately after the heat, just wait a few minutes. Although the check engine was still on after the 1st day of driving (thought maybe they put the plug in wrong, or was another issue), after the 2nd day the light went off. After 200 miles of driving, it looks all good and clear for me. Highly recommended- can''t beat this price!
Note: here''s an easy way to find out which sensor you need. The 2GR-FE v6 engine is a transverse layout with cylinders 1-3-5 (Bank 1) near the windshield. Cylinders 2-4-6 are Bank 2, near the front grille. Bank 2 Sensor 2 is underneath the car near the driver''s side. Just on the right is Bank 1 Sensor 2 (nearer passenger side). Both sensors 1 (Bank 1 and 2) are near the engine under the hood and can be worked on and accessed there.

Worked with my 2008 FJ Cruiser. We got the check engine lights, took it to Toyota and they said the passenger side catalytic converter was bad and needed to be replaced. Their quote for the work was expensive, so I checked into FJ Cruiser forums and found suggestions that the cats should last closer to 20 years than 10 and that the O2 and AF sensors are much more likely to go bad after 10 years. Considering it is these sensors that the computer on board depends on to diagnose the state of the cats, I decided to replace both before committing to new cats. Bought this one and the AF sensor from Amazon and had a local garage replace them (under $100). Engine lights disappeared and haven''t seen them in several months since. So, this sensor worked as expected, fit my vehicle and, best of all, resolved the potentially larger problem with the cats.

Matches the original Toyota O2 sensor on the 2009 Venza 3.5L engine. It fixed the error code P0059 for oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 2. It''s very difficult to remove the old sensor, so be patient. Be cautious. I used anti rust penetrating spray and let it sit for about 3 hours. I watched a few YouTube videos. I used an extra long 22mm wrench. I just crawled under the car, so you''ll have to remove both plastic engine splash shields. I cleared the check engine light with the OBDII code reader. Good luck.

Just make sure you have the right sensor for the problem your code is showing. I went for an oil change and they were able to print off the codes for me. This part corrected the two lights that were showing on my dash. The VSC and an Engine light.
It took longer to remove the plastic skid plates than it did to replace the sensor.

This was the exact OEM Denso part that was on my vehicle originally. Came in retail box with copper anti-sieze. My advice is to spend the extra few bucks and get the exact OEM sensor like I did. It may save you a bunch of time and headaches either during installation (some generic sensors do not have the connectors on them and you need to cut the ends off your old sensor and reuse them) or in the future. Good product.

Bought this for our Lexus and bought a returned one from Amazon for a bit cheaper. Product came in the box and sealed and worked like a charm. If changing keep in mind that Youtube has you taking out seats or front console but if it is a 2009 like ours, just jack the car up and you will see the two sensors under the engine. Once you locate them it is just a twist with a wrench and a pull to remove them and to reinstall new one. Sensors were located pretty much in the middle of the hood as soon as you look underneath it. Maybe a bit closer to the passenger side for the one I changed.

Great price for the product compared to dealership or other online stores. This part helped me clear a wide range of check engine light error codes by replacing a failed oxygen sensor (bank 2 sensor 2) on my ''07 Camry XLE (3.5L V6). The failed O2 sensor was causing not only a low O2 sensor voltage error code, but also engine control module failure code, and cylinder misfire codes (which I believe are caused by the engine control module defaulting out of stable fuel/air ratio control when the O2 sensor fails). Replacing the O2 sensor cleared all the codes. My only beef is that the product description is not exactly clear which sensor on the vehicle this model is meant to replace, and that the vehicle compatibility cross check information was actually wrong when I compared it against the Denso webpage. In general, it seems that auto parts suppliers do a lousy job in helping the purchaser to nail down exactly what part is required. Please provide a diagram!

Good luck.

I checked my local parts stores, auto zone and oriellys and they both had this exact part for around $100 so I ordered it on Amazon for half the price and put it in myself. Just make sure you have the right sensor for the problem your code is showing. I went for an oil change and they were able to print off the codes for me. This part corrected the two lights that were showing on my dash. The VSC and an Engine light.
It took longer to remove the plastic skid plates than it did to replace the sensor.

Sometimes these are hard to remove. Spray with PB blaster and drive for a few days and then maybe PB blaster again right before removing
